Title of project : Objects of Desire -
About: Objects of desire is based on the juxtaposition of image and text, exploring the effectiveness of each to communicate the true meaning of a given scenario. The project focuses on women’s issues narrating stories of child marriage, domestic violence, and inequality. The images are sets of Barbie dolls symbolizing women as objects and the common stereotype of women’s unrealistic idealized life. On the other side the text reveals the harsh reality that many women go through in many cultures globally.
